DEATH DRIVE
During my time living and working in Mumbai, India, I had the opportunity to explore the country. I travelled through the various states and found that India was the craziest country I have ever visited.
The image above was taken at a country fair in Kerala, with the highlight being The Diamond Maruti Car Circus.
The spectators would climb to the top of this spherical Wall of Death and watch these maniacs ride and drive at top speed around the wall only centimeters away from where you are standing.
To make it a touch more insane, the riders would ride their motorbikes with no hands and the drivers would hang out of the car window while controlling the steering wheel with their feet.
This snapshot only covers part of the insanity as there was up to 6 riders and drivers on the wall at the same time.
