SUNSET ON KARAKI MOUNTAIN

I do a lot of panoramic photography but I wanted to try producing a panoramic HDR image so I could control the background and foreground exposures without losing any detail.  A 2 day camping trip around the stunning hills of Karkai Mountain in India was the perfect setting to attempt this for the first time.

I took 4 photos with 9 bracketed exposures [-4 -3 -2 -1 0 +1 +2 +3 +4].  A total of 36 images!

Each set of 9 bracketed images were processed, aligned and merged to create 4 32bit hi res images.  These image were then stitched together and colour corrected to produce the 90cm wide image above.
