This image was taken at the start of the trek around Karaki Mountain.

The journey to get here from Mumbai was a 3 hour train ride, followed by a 4 hour taxi ride, followed by a uncomfortably hot and cramped final 20 minute drive in the back of this van.  All of this before a day’s trek to the top of the mountain in 30° heat.

After dropping the 6 of us off at the base of the mountain, the van then picked up 15 people and drove off into the distance whilst leaving this poor guy behind to ponder whether he should call Uber.
