JUMP ROPE ANIM TEST : UNKNOWN SOLDIER (WIP)

This is the first animation test for my new short film, ‘The Unknown Soldier’.

I used some stock mo-cap of a skipping rope cycle, and after a bit of cleanup with the feet contacting the floor I parented the rope handles to the hands and then hand animated the rope rotating around the body.

SOLDIER MOCAP ANIM TEST : UNKNOWN SOLDIER (WIP)

I downloaded some stock mocap of various actions and then attached it to the model to test and see how the character would react.

There was a lot of cleanup for some of the test shots I want to use but overall it was great to see it working and it was better than I could ever do myself as an animator.

A quick breakdown for the giraffe scene.

Disciplines: Modelling – Lighting – Texturing, UV Layout – Rendering – Compositing.

Software: Maya, Mari, Headus UV,  Arnold Renderer, Photoshop, Nuke.

The backplate was shot using a Canon 550d.

DAY OF THE DEAD : SPECTRE (BOND 24) (2015)

During my stay at ILM, I used their in-house specific Camera and Lighting pipeline while working on Spectre, the latest Bond film.

I produced vfx cameras, layout and lighting for the intro ‘Day of the Dead’ Sequence.

While at ILM London, I produced Cameras and Layout using their in-house software, Zeno, for the fight sequence between Falcon and Ant-Man.
